Alerts

The Builder provides special actions to create Alert message notices.

Alert notices can be created in either the Builder or Device Manager consoles via the the Alert and Builder Alert actions. When combined with triggers, Alert notices provide log of device error and other important conditions and state.

Alerts log messages are saved in the Builder and Device Cloud databases. Alert notices are uniquely fingerprinted by the trigger context at the time of activation. Repeat alerts for the same fingerprint are aggregated and a count of repeats is displayed in the console.
